How to complete the practice exam
Write your answers on paper or say them aloud before opening “Reveal answer”. For multiple-choice questions, choose one option. Try the first attempt without looking at the modules, then use the answers to check your work. No answers are submitted, and scores or progress are not saved.
Award yourself 1 point for each correct answer, up to 30 points. For Finnish phrases, accept another correct phrase with the same meaning. Capitalisation and final punctuation do not affect your score; check Finnish letters such as ä and ö carefully. Phone-number question 9 earns 1 point when all three digits are correct. If you use a hint or reveal an answer first, use that question for practice and award 0 points on this attempt.
This is an informal learning activity, not an official Finnish-language qualification or government examination. The score guide reflects this course practice only and does not establish a language level.

Self-scoring guide — out of 30
Add 1 point for each correct answer from your first attempt. Total: ____ / 30. You can also record each part out of 6 to find the module that would help you most.
0–14: Build your foundation. Review the course one module at a time. Practise the phrases you missed and try again when you feel comfortable.
15–23: Keep practising. You remember many useful phrases. Revisit the parts where you lost points, say the examples aloud and repeat the exam later.
24–30: Ready for the next learning step. You have a strong grasp of this practice material. Keep using the phrases in short conversations and move forward with further beginner learning when you feel ready.
Every attempt helps. A low score is a useful guide to what to practise next. Repeat the exam after reviewing; record the new score separately rather than changing your first-attempt score.
